Two teenage duck hunters who became mired in mud up to their chests were freed by rescuers in West Tennessee.
Taylor Cole, 19, and Adam Davis, 18, both of the Finley area, had gone to check the water level near a duck blind Monday evening, the Dyer County Sheriff's department .
A friend found them stuck and called for help after 10 p.m.
A cold front had dropped temperatures to near 40 and it was raining. One of the young men was unresponsive when rescuers arrived.
Deputies got into the mud to bear hug the victims and try to warm them.
Cole and Davis were taken to a hospital, treated for hypothermia and released.
