A six-hour standoff in San Jose has ended after a SWAT team entered a home where police say a man shot two of his roommates before killing himself.
San Jose Police Sgt. Mike Sullivan says officers arrived at the house around 5 a.m. Saturday after they received a call from a man who said he had just been shot by his roommate.
More than 70 San Jose police officers and SWAT team members had surrounded the home before they entered around 11 a.m.
Sullivan says the shooter was found dead — apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He has not been identified.
The two victims were taken to a hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds. A third man was found hiding in an upstairs closet.
