Authorities say a suspected California jewelry thief has been turned in by his parents.
Oceanside police say the couple recognized their son from a surveillance photo on a television newscast about last month's robbery.
Police had been looking for the man suspected of stealing about $7,000 worth of jewelry.
The suspect was arrested Friday. Police also arrested a man suspected of fencing the gold necklaces taken from the Gems N Loans store.
