John Travolta defended his friend and fellow Scientologist Tom Cruise over videos that show the star promoting Scientology.
"[Tom] has — we all have — the right to practice how we feel," Travolta told People magazine.
The 53-year-old "Pulp Fiction" star said the media scrutiny of Cruise is too much.
"It finally becomes unfair," he said.

Last week, videos available on the Internet showed Cruise praising Scientology and calling his membership to the Church a "privilege."
"Being a Scientologist," Cruise says in one video, "you look at someone and know absolutely that you can help them."
