Heath Ledger, who recently split with his "Brokeback Mountain" co-star Michelle Williams, may have moved on to another petite, blond Hollywood star ... and this one's an A-lister.
An eyewitness at New York City's trendy Beatrice Inn told the New York Post's Page Six gossip column that Ledger and Kate Hudson spent Thursday evening "kissing and making out."
A rep for Hudson told Page Six, "This is absolutely untrue. They ran into each other and chatted briefly, but that was the extent of it." But the Page Six spy stood by the story.
Hudson reportedly recently broke up with comedian Dax Shephard, and previously dated Owen Wilson.
Ledger and Williams got together on the set of 2005's "Brokeback Mountain," in which they co-starred as husband and wife. They later settled in New York, and had a daughter, Matilda, born October 2005. Ledger has been spotted with a number of beauties since the break-up.
