Police Offer Reward for Capture of Dog Rape Suspect

Arizona police are offering a $2,000 reward to anyone who can help them catch the suspect who allegedly raped a 1-year-old Russell Terrier, MyFoxPhoenix is reporting.

The dog was found abandoned near an animal hospital and when veterinarians examined the tiny pooch, they immediately called police.

"The evidence right now shows there has been some type of sexual activity with the animal," Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told MyFoxPhoenix. "I'm not doing to go into the gory details, but it does go into the category of bestiality."

Police told MyFoxPhoenix they received reports of a suspicious man with dark, reddish hair around the scene where the dog was found.
