A female Penn State student remained in critical condition Thursday after she fell from her 8th floor dorm room window on Tuesday, the school's student newspaper reported.
The 18-year-old woman was found lying unconscious outside her dorm building early Tuesday morning, the Daily Collegian reported. Police are unsure of the details surrounding her fall, but have not ruled out criminal activity.
"We haven't ruled anything out because we simply just do not know," Penn State spokesman Tyrone Parham told the Collegian. "Though we can't confirm what happened, we are still in process of looking into it."
Cops are interviewing roommates, friends and anyone else who may have been in the dorm at the time of the student’s fall, the Collegian reported.
