Ohio Murder Suspect Escapes Mental Health Facility

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Authorities on Monday were searching in Columbus for an escaped murder suspect.

The State Highway Patrol said 19-year-old Gerald Bullucks last was seen at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at a mental health facility where he was being held on the city's near west side.

Bullucks is accused of shooting two men in Cincinnati last New Year's Eve, killing one and wounding the other. The patrol said he was being held on charges including aggravated murder and attempted aggravated murder.

Police searched one house overnight on a tip that Bullucks might be there, but officers found no one inside.
