New York Motorcyclist Injured After Collision With Turkey
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}State police say a motorcyclist has been injured after colliding with a turkey on a central New York road.
Troopers say 22-year-old Eric Cummis of Palermo was driving on Route 3 in his hometown, 23 miles north of Syracuse, when a turkey flew into his path around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say the turkey hit the motorcycle just above the front wheel and Cummis lost control of the bike, which slid off the road.
