NATO: Afghan Chopper Crash Kills 3 Troops

A spokesman for NATO says two Canadian troops and a Briton were killed in a helicopter crash in southern Afghanistan.

Lt. Cmdr. Chris Hall says the helicopter went down Monday in the southern province of Zabul. Hall says the crash was not caused by insurgent fire.

Seven American soldiers also were killed Monday, making it one of the deadliest days for foreign troops in Afghanistan since the ouster of the Taliban in 2001.
