Flowers have been placed along a fence outside the Wichita clinic of slain abortion provider Dr. George Tiller and the clinic flag is flying at half staff.
A police officer at the clinic said Monday morning that the clinic was closed and would remain shut for a week.
One anti-abortion group — Kansas Coalition for Life — left a sign outside the clinic saying its members had prayed for Tiller's conversion to a pro-life viewpoint but "not his murder."
Tiller was shot Sunday morning in the foyer of his church.
The man suspected of shooting him was arrested outside Kansas City and was in a Wichita jail cell Monday without bail. Formal charges against him were expected to be filed Monday.
