Milwaukee police have arrested a man suspected of eight sexual assaults since February.

The 22-year-old was arrested Friday -- the date of his most recent assault.

The female victims ranged in age from age 14 to 25, but most were in their teens.

One of the victims from August, a 19-year-old female, spotted the suspect in an vehicle Friday, noted the license plate number and called police.

As police were interviewing the 19-year-old, the suspect had driven to an area where he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl as she got off a bus. The girl called police.

Police arrested the man at his workplace in the City of Pewaukee, where he fought with officers and unsuccessfully attempted to flee.

The alleged rapist has a criminal record for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
