A 24-year-old New York man was Tasered after he allegedly set his parents' house on fire using makeshift bombs, the Albany Times Union reported.

Christopher David refused to leave Wednesday afternoon, despite one side of the house being engulfed in flames, police told the newspaper. He was Tasered and carried out of the building.

Eight others were rescued from the home.

The house was set on fire using several "Molotov cocktails" made of gasoline, jugs and fuses fashioned from bailing twine, Albany County Sheriff's Deputy Chief Craig Apple told the Times Union.
