Man in Wheelchair Hit by Bus in Arizona

PHOENIX – Authorities say a man on a motorized wheelchair is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a charter-school bus in Phoenix.

City fire department officials say the 40-year-old man was crossing the street in his wheelchair Wednesday afternoon when he was hit and wound up trapped under the bus.

The man's name was not immediately released. Authorities say none of the 40 children on the bus were injured and they were taken home by another school bus.
