A man who allegedly fired a shot that hit a 10-year-old boy who was taking piano lessons faces life in prison.

Jared Adams, was charged with attempted murder, robbery, evading police and being a felon in possession of a gun.

The shot left Christopher Rodriguez paralyzed after Adams allegedly fired shots during a robbery of a gas station that went through wall of a music school where the boy was taking lessons.

Police officers in the area heard the gunshots and chased the suspect in his vehicle. Adams' vehicle struck another vehicle and a parked car.
