The Detroit Lions play host to the first NFL game of the day against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Falcons enter the game with a record of 6-4, one game back of Carolina and Tampa Bay in the NFC South. The Lions are 4-6, two games behind Chicago in the NFC Central.

The Falcons are coming off a 30-27 loss to Tampa Bay despite a 306-yard passing day by Michael Vick. Detroit lost to Dallas last Sunday 20-7.
The second game is in Dallas, as the Cowboys entertain Denver. The Cowboys are tied for first with New York in the NFC East at 7-3. The Broncos are coming off a 27-0 win over the New York Jets, which gives them a two-game lead in the AFC West at 8-2.
