Illinois Man Pleads Not Guilty of Murdering Wife, Three Children

A suburban Chicago man accused of killing his wife and three children has pleaded not guilty.

Christopher Vaughn entered his plea during a brief appearance in a Will County court.

He's accused of shooting his family members, whose bodies were found June 14th in an SUV parked on a frontage road near Channahon (SHAN'-nuh-hahn), about 40 miles southwest of Chicago.

Vaughn was arrested on June 23rd at a funeral home in a St. Louis suburb, just hours before a memorial service for his family.

He's accused of killing 34-year-old Kimberly Vaughn and her three children, 12-year-old Abigayle Elizabeth, 11-year-old Cassandra Ellen and 8-year-old Blake Philip.
