Horse Kick Breaks Leg of Ringo Starr's Wife
LONDON – Barbara Bach, a former Bond girl and wife of ex-Beatle Ringo Starr, was hospitalized with a broken leg after being kicked by a horse, a hospital official said Monday.
Bach was admitted Sunday to the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford, 35 miles southwest of London. She had surgery to repair her fractured right femur, the hospital said.
Bach, who turned 59 on Sunday, married Starr in 1981. The couple appeared together in the 1981 film "Caveman."
She was a Bond girl in 1977's "The Spy Who Loved Me," starring Roger Moore as Agent 007.
