Traffic is flowing again on the Golden Gate Bridge after a pileup accident.

Officials say at least seven people were injured Wednesday afternoon on the world-famous span. The California Highway Patrol says about 10 vehicles were involved.

The bridge was closed in both directions for about 40 minutes, and at least one lane was closed for an hour and a half. The span reopened in time for rush hour.

Patrol Officer Mary Ziegenbein says victims were treated at hospitals for a range of injuries.
