FOX Facts: Fundraising Reports for Presidential Candidates

The following shows reported total receipts of fundraising and spending for presidential candidates in the first three months of 2007. Candidates do not have to make detailed fundraising and spending reports public until April 15.

DEMOCRATS

Joe Biden: Total receipts of nearly $4 million, including a transfer from his Senate campaign account.

Hillary Clinton: raised $26 million between Jan. 1 and March 31. Total receipts of $36 million, would not say how much of her $26 million in new contributions were general election donations that would be useless in her primary campaign. In addition to the donations, Clinton transferred $10 million from her Senate campaign account.

Chris Dodd: Raised more than $4 million, transferred nearly $5 million from his Senate campaign and had $7.5 million in the bank.

John Edwards: Aides said he's raised $14 million in new contributions between Jan. 1 and March 31 and it included $1 million for the general election.

Barack Obama: raked in $25 million for his presidential bid in the first three months of 2007. The donations came from 100,000 donors, the campaign said in a statement.

Bill Richardson: Showed he had enough of a support base to raise $6 million and keep $5 million in the bank while spending most of his time in Santa Fe during New Mexico's legislative session.

REPUBLICANS

Rudy Giuliani: donations totaled $15 million - including more than $10 million during March alone. Giuliani, who conversely had moved from politics to private business in recent years, said he has raised nearly $17 million since he formed his presidential exploratory committee in November. He also had $11 million cash on hand as of Saturday, the end of the first quarter.

John McCain: During the first quarter of 2007, John McCain 2008 campaign received nearly 60,000 contributions from all 50 states, averaging $200 per contribution. The McCain campaign will report over $12.5 million in contributions for the first quarter.

Mitt Romney: reported raising $23 million for his presidential campaign during the first three months of the year. Romney's total included an unexpected asterisk: a $2.35 million loan from the candidate himself
