Former 'Idol' Contestant Luke Menard Has Hodgkin's Lymphoma

Former "American Idol" contestant Luke Menard has stage II Hodgkin's lymphoma, a representative for the singer's a capella group Chapter 6 confirmed for

"The prognosis is good — it's one of the most treatable cancers, he's in phenomenal shape and has a great marriage, an amazing family, a very strong faith and such a great spirit," the rep said.

According to, as many as 95 percent of people with stage I or stage II Hodgkin's disease survive for five years or more with proper treatment.
