Firefighters Battle 9 Alarm Blaze at MD Oceanfront Restaurant

Ocean City fire officials say firefighters from around the area are battling a nine-alarm fire at a restaurant along the boardwalk.

Ocean City fire department spokesman Capt. Steve Price says the fire started at the Dough Roller restaurant on South Atlantic Avenue just after noon Sunday. He says the fire spread to a building next door before it was declared under control around 2:30 p.m.

Price says firefighters from Worcester and Wicomico counties and Sussex County in Delaware are also on the scene. He says no injuries have been reported.
