DHAKA, Bangladesh – Authorities say a fire has killed 10 people at a five-story building in Bangladesh's capital.
Fire brigade official Ataur Rahman says the victims were asleep when the fire swept through the building in Dhaka's Aga Sadek road early Monday.
He says another five people have been taken to hospital with burn injuries.
He says it was not immediately known what caused the fire.
Rahman says firefighters have controlled the blaze.
