Welcome to the PC&G blog!

My name’s Liz, and I scour the Web for cool sites — not all of them make it into our weekly video package, so we’re posting them right here. I’ll post my finds daily.

Got something you think we should see? Send me an e-mail at mobileliz@foxnews.com!

I Love Blocks — I’m a sucker for handmade jewelry, and these unique block designs by Irina Blok are my new favorites. Her “Click Necklace” is absolutely brilliant (not to mention PERFECT for PCG). I want one! http://www.iloveblocks.com/index.html

Star Wars According to a 3-Year-Old — I’m not sure if this is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen or if I want to take this little girl and force her to play with girly (non-geeky) things like baby dolls and dress-up clothes. But it’s still great to hear her sum up the plot of Star Wars in under two minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBM854BTGL0

Suggested By Ninou from NJ:

When Busey Attacks — Best Oscar moment EVER! Gary Busey attacking Ryan Seacrest, Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney on the red carpet. I think the best part is how freaked out Seacrest is by the entire thing. You would think “American Idol” would have taught him how to deal with “crazy.” http://youtube.com/watch?v=krDoAUJDcKU

Tee Vs Tee — I love graphic tees… but honestly, there are WAY too many sites out there to choose from. Well, not any more… This site lets you vote on your favorite graphic tee design and also lets you search by tag so you can find exactly what you’re looking for. Best part is, they give you a direct link to where you can buy it. http://teevstee.com/

Duck and Monkey Travels — So I’m pretty positive I did something like this back in kindergarten… But it seems to be a trend online People taking inanimate objects and taking pictures of them all around the world — It’s a cute idea, and my two all-time favorites are Monkey Travel and Duck Travels. http://www.ducktravels.com/

Recital Meltdown — Can someone say Tourettes? This little kid has a minor spaz attack at a school recital — but I will have to say he seems to be a lot cooler than his catatonic classmates. How are they not laughing? If that was me, my first grade self would be rolling on the floor in tears! http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1761853

Air Poo — What can I say, It’s a toilet with a heated seat, a MacBook docking slot, multi-touch flusher, iPod dock and an integrated surround sound system. I think Apples gone a little too far this time. http://www.airpoo.com/

Dig The Wig — Alright, I’m completely over all this Obama/Clinton brouhaha… My votes now going for RALPH WIGGUM! The idea of this site is fantastic…too bad it doesn’t live up to the hype. They tease you with his stance on immigration — C’mon,“Stranger Danger,” that’s pure genius — but that’s it! Just a stupid poster you can print out to share with your friends. I give this one a B-. Would have been a D-, but I love Ralph. “Me fail English? That’s unpossible.” http://www.digthewig08.com/

Water Music — Here’s a site that’s extremely serene! It’s got nothing but video of some guy playing the water glasses. Sounds kind of lame, BUT IT’S NOT. This guy’s got some awesome skills. http://goodwatermusic.com/

Alphabet Game — How fast can you type the alphabet? 10.24 seconds! I suck at this game. The clock starts the second you hit ‘A’ and ends when you hit the letter ‘Z’ type … but don’t fumble, ‘cause you can’t miss any letter! http://free-online-games.nu/alphabet.html

Suggested By Bethany from Minnesota:

Cooking By Numbers — Can’t think of what to make for dinner? Let cooking by numbers help. You tell them what you have in your pantry, and they provide a receipt tailored just for you. A cute idea, but the list of possible ingredients is pretty limited, so it doesn’t really look like you can make TOO much. http://www.cookingbynumbers.com

Cartoon Insides — Some one loved their Saturday morning cartoons SO much that they actually envisioned what their skeletal systems would look like. I always knew Betty Boop’s skull was actually that big. http://www.popgive.com/2008/02/skeletal-systems-of-popular-cartoon.html

A Brief Essay on Love — It’s like paper dolls for the sad and pathetic... JUST KIDDING. Here’s your chance to design yourself an outfit. Tons of fun… and there’s even an EMO boy you can clothe with a shaggy ‘do and thick black plastic glasses. http://www.squareamerica.com/l1.htm

Have A Heart On — Now that Valentines Day is over, I’ll bring out the sappy sites… here’s one that has nothing but old photos depicting couples in love. Guys back in the day were so chivalrous. http://www.haveahearton.com/

Twisted Balloon Fashions — Unless you’re Vince Vaughn and your trying to score a hottie, balloon animals are pretty lame. BUT balloon dresses are AWESOME. Here’s some pics of girls sporting inflatable dresses. Bet they can’t sit down in those. http://www.secondose.com/twisted-balloons-fashion/

How Many Countries Can You Name in 5 Minutes? — 48! But out of 270, that’s pretty lame – But I swear if spelling didn’t count I would have rocked at this. http://www.justsayhi.com/bb/view2/countries

Carved Guitars — If I had the skills, I would definitely be a musician... and I would DEFINITELY rock out with one of these awesome guitars (the Phoenix Phlame is incredible). http://www.carverdoug.com/guitars.html

Dress Up EMO Girl — It’s like paper dolls for the sad and pathetic... JUST KIDDING. Here’s your chance to design yourself an outfit. Tons of fun… and there’s even an EMO boy you can clothe with a shaggy ‘do and thick black plastic glasses. http://porotto.deviantart.com/art/dress-up-EMO-girl-game-36974233

Titanic: The Sequel — Remember the end of the original movie when Leonardo DiCaprio falls down into the sea? Well, Jack’s back in this awesome YouTube mashup. I think I saw a clip from “Austin Powers” and “Encino Man” . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD4OnHCRd_4

We’re Brothers Forever — Wow! I can’t even explain the strangeness of this clip, but let’s just say “American Idol” has created some fantastic programming with this one. NOTE: Paula disappears halfway through the clip, then comes back and performs an INTERESTING interpretive dance to the contestants original song. Any ideas where she could have gone? http://youtube.com/watch?v=utOS0ZetVE8&feature=related

Free Music Widget — Looking for an easy way to share your favorite music with your friends? Well, look no further. This site lets your create a personalized play list with up to 100 songs that you can post on your blog or social networking site of your choice. http://www.playlist.com/

Traveler IQ Challenge — Hope you paid attention in geography class, ‘cause you’ll need it for this one. They give you a city, world capitol, or famous place, and you’ve got 10 seconds to blindly find it on a map. HINT: If you have no idea where something is, click anywhere — at least you’ll get points for speed. http://www.travelpod.com/traveler-iq

Feed Britney — I feel a little bad posting this, in light of her recent hospitalization — BUT, if you only look at the left side of the screen, it’s really more like playing a matching game than exploiting the hardships of a fallen pop star. http://www.keepbusy.net/play.php?id=feed-britney

Community Chest — Hysterical Monopoly cards you didn’t see in the original game — I think my favorite is, "Your girlfriend's period is late. Pay $50 for bus ticket to Anchorage." http://www.dribbleglass.com/monopoly/

The Super Bowl is coming up — GO Big Blue!!! — and what better way to get excited for the big day, than by taking a peek at some of my FAVORITE Super Bowl ads of the past. — Liz

Banned Budweiser Commercial — Here’s why you should NEVER hide behind the bar while the bartender is not looking, no matter how good of an idea it seems like at the time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsCoPb43TUk

Sprint Crime Deterrent Phone — LOVE IT!! If my phone came with a crime deterrent feature on it, I’d be the happiest girl on the block! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4O4f6FKYyc

Mean Jo Green — Who could forget this classic! Okay, so I wasn’t even born when it aired, but that doesn’t stop me from feeling nostalgic. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xffOCZYX6F8

YouTube Ad Blitz — After the big game, make sure to stop by YouTube to vote on your favorite ads from the show — my votes is DEFINITELY going to the Justin Timberlake Pepsi ad. http://www.youtube.com/adblitz
