Chinese officials believe panda-inspired fashion is demeaning to the animal and wants to ban uncomplimentary images of the furry creature, according to a Times of London report.

The final straw for officials came during China Fashion Week when panda couture took the runways by storm and models strutted down the runway wearing black and white negligees and flurry ears, the newspaper reported.
