Leonardo DiCaprio (search) declaring "I'm the king of the world!" in "Titanic" has been chosen as the cheesiest line in movie history.
DiCaprio utters the words while standing with arms outstretched at the bow of the doomed ocean liner in a romantic moment with co-star Kate Winslet (search).
But it is the corniest line in film, according to a poll of 2,000 British moviegoers.
Second was Patrick Swayze in "Dirty Dancing," saying solemnly of his love Jennifer Grey: "Nobody puts Baby in the corner."
Andie MacDowell, in "Four Weddings and a Funeral," came third for gazing at Hugh Grant during a torrential downpour and saying: "Is it still raining? I hadn't noticed."
Swayze makes another appearance at four in "Ghost," although the cheesy line belongs to co-star Demi Moore. "I love you," Swayze says, to which Moore replies: "Ditto."
"Top Gun" came fifth, for the moment Val Kilmer tells Tom Cruise: "You can be my wingman any time."
The survey, conducted by the BBC (search), was commissioned by British food company Warburtons (search) to mark the launch of its new Cheese Flavour Crumpets.
A Warburtons spokeswoman said: "We're a nation of cheese lovers but these results show our love of cheese goes beyond food."
