A Delaware man allegedly called his former girlfriend 101 times in less than 24 hours, violating a no-contact order, MyFOXPhilly.com reported.
David L. Jewell, 32, of Castle Hill, was arrested Sunday after officers responded to the 33-year-old woman's home, where she told police she had recently been a victim of a domestic crime and had an active no-contact order in place against Jewell.
The woman told police Jewell had repeatedly called her cell phone and sent intimidating text messages, including "UR Dead" and threats to her child, MyFOXPhilly.com reported. The woman, who was not identified, told police Jewell was attempting to coerce her to drop the previous charges against him.
Jewell was observed riding his bicycle near the woman's home as officers interviewed her. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with aggravated act of intimidation, aggravated harassment, terroristic threatening, and breech of release.
Jewell was later arraigned and jailed after failing to post $5,000 secured bail.
