El Paso – El Paso police arrested a relative in the shooting deaths of her mother and stepfather.
A statement Sunday from El Paso police spokesman Officer Chris Mears said 46-year old Laura Grisel Carsner had been charged on one count of Capital Murder for the deaths of her stepfather 67-year-old Alejandro Quiroz and 68-year-old mother Irma Quiroz.
Carsner was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $2 million dollar bond.
Police did not release a motive. Police found the bodies late Saturday afternoon in the backyard of an El Paso home after gunshots were reported fired.
