Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Cedrick Wilson has obtained a protection-from-abuse order against his girlfriend, who is charged with firing two shots in the player's home, a team spokesman said.
Lindsey Paulat, 26, is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment in the incident Saturday. She remained in custody Wednesday, and her family has said they will not comment on the case.
Paulat fired two shots from Wilson's gun after Wilson left their home in the suburb of Pine Township on Saturday, police said. Paulat refused to surrender for about 12 hours, prompting police to evacuate some neighbors, police said.
Team spokesman Dave Lockett told The Associated Press on Wednesday that Wilson filed for the court order on Tuesday. Lockett said he didn't have any other details on the request.
Paulat is the mother of Wilson's 14-month-old child.
