A Windsor teenager faces misdemeanor child abuse charges after she and a friend allegedly got drunk while they were babysitting.
The Greeley Tribune reports in Wednesday's editions that Windsor police and the Windsor-Severance Fire Protection District responded to a medical call at a home Jan. 30 and found two intoxicated 15-year-old girls.
It wasn't immediately clear who made the call.
Authorities say the girls were to have been babysitting two children under the age of 5, but got drunk on black cherry vodka they had taken from the home where they were babysitting.
The children were asleep at the time and were not hurt.
Both teens face theft charges and were cited for being minors in possession.
No names were released.
