Colorado Springs police say a man who walked away from a work-release program in 2007 may have commited more than 100 burglaries since then.

Authorities said this week they've returned more than $10,000 in stolen property since arresting the suspect on June 1. Investigators say that in one robbery, a victim was forced at gunpoint to walk from room to room in his house.

Police identified the suspect as Bobby Berry. He was arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft, second-degree kidnapping and giving false information to pawn brokers.

A woman identified as his girlfriend, Jennifer Trimble, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft.

It wasn't immediately known whether either has an attorney.

It's not clear what charges Berry faced when he was in the work-release program.
