LONDON – German supermodel Claudia Schiffer (search) and her husband, British movie producer Matthew Vaughn, are expecting a second child, People magazine and a British newspaper said.
Shilpa Patel, a Schiffer spokeswoman at Freud Communications in London, refused to comment on the reports Monday. Patel also said that Schiffer, who lives with her husband and 1-year-old child, Caspar, in a mansion in rural England, was presently traveling outside the country.
People magazine's London bureau quoted an unidentified Schiffer representative on Monday as saying: "Claudia is expecting baby No. 2 at the end of the year. Both she and Matthew are delighted."
The News of the World, a British tabloid, carried a similar report on Sunday, quoting an unidentified friend.
Schiffer married Vaughn, the producer of movies including "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" and "Snatch," in a private church ceremony near her eastern England country home in May 2002.
