The first book claiming to detail the story behind former Bolingbrook police Sgt. Drew Peterson, his deceased third wife and his missing fourth wife has arrived in bookstores.

The book, entitled "Fatal Vows: The Tragic Wives of Sergeant Drew Peterson," was written by Joseph Hosey, a reporter for The Herald News newspaper in Joliet.

The book was published by Phoenix Books, Inc., a small Beverly Hills, Calif., firm.

Peterson has repeatedly denied involvement in his wife Stacy Peterson's disappearance last October or the 2004 death of his third wife Kathleen Savio, whose body was found in her bathtub.

Police have named Drew Peterson a suspect in Stacy's disappearance. Savio's death was ruled a homicide in February after her body was exhumed and a second autopsy was performed.
