Alan Ball’s “Nothing Is Private,” which I told you Tuesday could not be released by major studio, has found a home.
Warner Independent Pictures, a division of Time Warner, liked the idea of Aaron Eckhart molesting a 13-year-old (character, the actress is just of age) so much, they shelled out $1.3 million with partner Netflix.
TW’s execs in New York will be so pleased when their state-of-the-art screening room is used to unveil “Private” to shareholders.
This marks a sea change in marketing for WIP. Their previous big hit was “March of the Penguins."
