A young British babysitter will be behind bars for at least 15 years after beating a two-year-old girl to death while her mother stepped out to collect her benefit check.
Sixteen year old Karl McLuney punched and kicked little Demi Leigh Mahon to death while babysitting her on his 15th birthday.
He is also thought to have bitten her while inflicting a total of 68 injuries on her body.
Demi Leigh's scalp had been sheared off and she had proably been shaken violently.
The teenage thug punched her in the face so hard that she was left brain damaged and died two days after the attack.
McCluney originally told authorities that the little girl had fallen over in a park.
