'Apprentices' Not Invited to Trump Nups

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth (search) won't be sitting on the groom's side at the wedding of Donald Trump and Melania Knauss. Neither will his hired Apprentices Bill Rancic (search) or Kelly Perdew (search).

Instead of choosing who would hear the words "you're invited," Trump didn't extend an invitation to any of the candidates of his NBC reality show, "The Apprentice."

"I decided not to do that. I don't think it would be appropriate," he told The Associated Press Tuesday. "I'm trying to keep it down to a minimum."

Trump and Knauss will wed Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla. Knauss will wear a massive Christian Dior gown for the ceremony and a Vera Wang outfit for the reception. But she won't be joined by bridesmaids, and there won't be a traditional honeymoon.

"I'm not a big vacation person," Trump said during an NBC phone news conference.

After almost five years together, Trump proposed to Knauss in Manhattan's Trump Tower.

"I think she knew," he said. "I think she knew she had me locked."

Trump cited being a "great father and a lousy husband" as the reason for his failed marriages to Ivana Trump and Marla Maples. But this time around, Trump has a surefire plan to make marriage last.

"I'm going to devote more time to the wife," he said.

The third season of "The Apprentice" premieres Thursday.
