A central Florida man who authorities say apologized to a clerk for robbing a store at gunpoint has been arrested.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, 39-year-old Robert Jackman of Holly Hill robbed a store Monday morning at gunpoint.
He reportedly looked at the store clerk who was putting cash in a bag and said "sorry" before walking out.
Authorities believe he also robbed a second store soon after.
An hour later, police found Jackman behind another store. He was arrested and charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault.
He was being held with no bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail in Daytona Beach.
Holly Hill is about four miles north of Daytona Beach.
