An AIDS advocacy group says it plans to file complaints against 16 porn production companies for filming unprotected sex.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation said Thursday it would file complaints later in the day with the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.

The group alleges the unprotected sex in the films demonstrates unsafe behavior in a California workplace. It says its contentions are evident in numerous adult films, and at least 60 adult DVDs will accompany the complaint.

Hustler Video and Maverick Entertainment are among the companies being targeted by the complaint. Company officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

A call to CalOSHA was not immediately returned.
