At just age 9, Dzhambik Khatokhov weighs a staggering 324 pounds and wears man-sized shoes.
Believed to be the unofficial world's fattest child, Russian Dzhambik -- known as Jambik -- dreams of winning gold for his country at the Olympics.
At 5-feet, 2-inches tall, the boy towers over (and wider than) all his friends. His family's furniture has had to be reinforced to support his massive frame.
A British doctor who has met the boy says his health is in grave danger.
Dr. Ian Campbell -- who spent a week studying the family two years ago -- said Jambik's condition is dire.
"His weight means he has a greatly increased risk of diabetes, cancer and heart disease," Campbell said. "As a result of being so heavy so young, his life expectancy is likely to be greatly reduced."
But his mother Nelya, 42, doesn't share the concerns.
"He is just growing -- upwards and outwards," she said. "What can I do about it? This is who he is, this is how God created him."
