This actually happened before Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta dominated the Pirates on Wednesday night with a complete-game shutout to put Chicago in the NLDS against St. Louis.
A big Cubs fan, clearly impressed by the right-handed starter's amazing season and insane run the last couple of months, got the Arrieta's face shaved into his head at The New Style Barbershop in Moline, Ill.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
The kid was not only rewarded with another vintage performance by Arrieta in the playoff game against Pittsburgh, but Arrieta has given a thumbs-up on the hairdo.
