London, England – Queens Park Rangers added Manchester City Phillips on Wednesday for an undisclosed fee.
The England international joins QPR on a three-year contract and he is looking forward to getting his time started with the London side.
"After speaking to the manager and seeing what direction the club was going, I just really wanted to be a part of helping that to happen," Wright-Phillips told Sky Sports News.
"With a few signings, and with the squad we have got, we are heading in the right direction."
QPR also added Sunderland defender Anton Ferdinand to its team on Wednesday in a deal believed to be in the region of $7.3 million.
