Dublin, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Tiger Woods will play with Matt Kuchar on Thursday at the Presidents Cup -- the 19th different partner for Woods in international team competition.

Woods and Kuchar will face Argentina's Angel Cabrera and Australia's Marc Leishman in a four-ball match as the United States begins its quest for a fifth straight win over the International team.

Captains Fred Couples of the U.S. and Nick Price for the International team announced their pairings Wednesday.

The matches begin Thursday at Muirfield Village, site of the PGA Tour's Memorial, which Woods has won five times and where Kuchar is the reigning champion. They will play in the fifth match out of six.

Hunter Mahan and Brandt Snedeker will face Australia's Jason Day and Canada's Graham DeLaet in the first match Thursday at 11:45 a.m. ET.

Bill Haas and Webb Simpson will play Australia's Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama of Japan in the second match.

Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley, back together after going 3-0 together at the Ryder Cup, will face South Africans Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel in the third match.

Another past Memorial champion, 2011 winner Steve Stricker, will pair with 20- year-old PGA Tour rookie of the year Jordan Spieth against 2004 Memorial champ Ernie Els of South Africa and Brendon de Jonge of Zimbabwe in the fourth match.

In the anchor match, Jason Dufner and Zach Johnson will face Branden Grace and Richard Sterne of South Africa.

Twelve of the 24 players this year are new to the Presidents Cup, though four of the American rookies have played in the Ryder Cup previously.

Couples is the U.S. captain for a third time and Price is making his debut as International team captain.

The U.S. has a 7-1-1 record in the event, which runs through Sunday.
