Wizards' Rice has wrist surgery

Washington, DC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Wizards announced Wednesday that rookie guard Glen Rice had successful surgery to repair a fractured right wrist.
Dr. Michelle Carlson performed the procedure.
The 22-year-old, who is slated to miss anywhere from 3-to-6 weeks, has averaged 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds over his first 11 NBA appearances.
