West Bromwich, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Arsenal saw its five-game winning streak in Premier League play come to an end on Sunday as it was held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
The two sides remained level until the 42nd minute when Claudio Yacob made use of a splendid cross from Morgan Amalfitano to nod the delivery past Wojciech Szczesny.
West Brom maintained its one-goal margin until the 63rd minute when Jack Wilshere uncorked a low shot from distance that needed a deflection from Jonas Olsson to get past Boaz Myhill.
With neither team managing to sneak a winner, the point sees Arsenal climb to the top of the Premier League table on 16 points. Despite sitting level on points with Liverpool, the Gunners claim the pole position with more goals scored this term.
West Bromwich Albion is unbeaten in its last four league matches, bringing the club to nine points.
Chelsea 3, Norwich City 1
Norwich, England - Chelsea left it late but still managed to pick up maximum points from its trip to Carrow Road as the Blues earned a 3-1 victory over Norwich City on Sunday.
Oscar opened the scoring early on for Chelsea by breaking the deadlock in just the fourth minute, but Norwich City equalized in the 68th minute through Anthony Pilkington.
It looked as if the two sides would split the points until Eden Hazard broke through five minutes from time with his first Premier League goal of the season. Willian tacked on an insurance goal a minute later with his first tally for the club.
The Blues climb to 14 points on the season while the Canaries, who have lost three of their last four league matches, remain on seven points.
Southampton 2, Swansea City 0
Southampton, England - Southampton scored on both sides of halftime to get a 2-0 win at Swansea City on Sunday, the club's third straight league victory.
Adam Lallana got the Saints off the mark in the 19th minute and Jay Rodriguez made sure of the win seven minutes from time by tacking on an insurance goal.
Southampton improves to 14 points on the season to stay level with Chelsea, though the Saints sit one spot behind the Blues on goal difference. Swansea has lost two league matches in a row to remain on seven points.
West Ham 3, Tottenham 0
London, England - West Ham enjoyed a shock win at White Hart Lane on Sunday as the Hammers earned a 3-0 defeat of Tottenham.
The visitors produced all three goals in the span of 13 minutes as Winston Reid, Ricardo Vaz Te and Ravel Morrison chipped in with a goal apiece.
The result snaps a two-game slide for West Ham to lift the club to eight points, five points back of Tottenham.
