Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Web.com Tour announced its 2015 schedule on Tuesday and the new campaign will begin in just over two weeks and will feature 25 events.
The season will commence with the Panama Claro Championship on Jan. 29 and will run through Feb. 1. The following week the tour will head to Colombia for the Pacific Rubiales Colombia Championship, which kicked off the 2014 season.
After three weeks off, the Web.com Tour will be back in Colombia for a new event, the Karibana Championship, which will be played from March 5-8. The next two events will be held in South America. The Brasil Champions is to be played March 12-15, followed by the Chile Classic from March 19-22.
The first event inside the U.S. will once again be the Chitimacha Louisiana Open from March 26-29 before heading to Mexico three weeks later for the El Bosque Mexico Championship.
The tour then returns to the U.S. for six straight events, which are the WNB Golf Classic, United Leasing Championship, BMW Charity Pro-Am, Rex Hospital Open, Rust-Oleum Championship and Air Capital Classic.
The Rust-Oleum Championship was formerly the Cleveland Open, which joined the tour last season.
Following the Nova Scotia Open in Canada, the tour's regular season wraps up with seven straight events in the United States, finishing up at the WinCo Foods Portland Open.
Also during that stretch will be the Boise Open, Stonebrae Classic, Utah Championship, Midwest Classic, Price Cutter Charity Championship and News Sentinal Open.
Twenty-five PGA Tour cards will be up for grabs once again during the Web.com Tour Finals for those who did not secure one of the 25 awarded during the regular season.
Like the past two seasons, the Finals will feature four events beginning with the Hotel Fitness Championship followed by the Chiquita Classic and Nationwide Children's Hospital Championship. The season once again comes to a close at the Web.com Tour Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
"The success of the Web.com Tour is due in large part to an incredible tournament and sponsor base, which allows us to enjoy a strong tournament schedule year in and year out," said Web.com Tour president Bill Calfee. "We are most appreciative of their efforts as we collectively work to keep building the foundation of this tour and have a greater impact in the communities where we play."
