Charlottesville, VA – Mike Scott scored 17 and Darion Atkins ranked Virginia blew past Maryland-Eastern Shore, 42, at John Paul Jones Arena.
Joe Harris tallied 10 points for the Cavaliers (11-1), who have won nine in a row. Virginia, which was coming off a two-game road trip with victories against Oregon and Seattle, shot 50 percent from the field Tuesday night.
Hillary Haley had 11 points to pace the Hawks (3-10), who lost a tough 64-60 contest at Air Force on December 17. The Hawks shot just 27.8 percent from the field.
