Vikings' Peterson suffers ankle injury

Minneapolis, MN – Vikings running back Adrian Peterson suffered a left ankle injury during Sunday's game against Oakland, and is questionable to return.

Peterson sustained the injury during a rush in the final minute of the first quarter. He was helped off the field by trainers and rode a cart into the tunnel.

Peterson ran for a score in the first quarter against the Raiders. He entered the week tied for the NFL lead in rushing touchdowns (10), and had totaled 846 yards through nine games.
