Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier announced Monday that linebacker Desmond Bishop has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will have surgery.
Bishop missed all of the 2012 season with the Green Bay Packers due to a hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old Bishop suffered the injury in Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Panthers. He had five tackles in four games this season.
Bishop spent his first six seasons with the Packers.
