Eden Prairie, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Minnesota Vikings rookie linebacker Anthony Barr will undergo knee surgery and miss the final two games of the season due, the team said Friday.
Barr missed Minnesota's last two games with a left knee injury that he had been battling for a few weeks. He is expected to be ready for Minnesota's offseason workouts.
The UCLA product was the ninth overall pick in the 2014 draft. Barr finished with 70 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries, including one he returned for a touchdown in overtime to beat Tampa Bay in Week 8.
