Victoria Viviens scored 17 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and No. 23 Mississippi State beat SE Louisiana 97-36 on Sunday.

Viviens was 6 of 16 from the floor and made 3 of 8 beyond the arc. Martha Alwal added 15 points and 11 rebounds and Morgan William had 12 points as the Bulldogs (8-0) were 11 of 33 on 3-pointers and out-rebounded SE Louisiana 69-30.

Elizabeth Styles led the Lady Lions (3-5) with nine points.

Mississippi State led by just three at 14:03 of the first, but an 8-0 run pushed the lead to double digits and the Bulldogs continued to make three baskets to every one for SE Louisiana and built a commanding 45-25 halftime advantage.

The onslaught continued in the second half, as Mississippi State opened with a 14-point run and cruised to victory.
